In order to be considered the following is required:
  • Relevant Degree, Diploma or equivalent qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or related field
  • Microsoft, Cisco, Fortinet, VMware, Azure, AWS or similar certifications advantageous
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in Technical Pre-Sales, Solutions Consulting, Sales Engineering or Solutions Architecture
  • Experience within a Managed Services Provider (MSP), Systems Integrator or Enterprise ICT environment
  • Experience designing enterprise infrastructure and managed service solutions
  • Experience with municipalities, government departments or the public sector is highly advantageous
  • Experience preparing technical proposals, tender responses and customer presentations

Responsibilities:
  • Engage with clients to understand business and technical requirements
  • Consult municipalities, government departments and enterprise clients on ICT strategy and digital transformation
  • Design and present Managed IT, Cybersecurity, Cloud, Infrastructure and Digital Transformation solutions
  • Conduct workshops, demonstrations and executive presentations
  • Develop solution architectures, BOMs, Statements of Work and technical proposals
  • Support RFIs, RFQs, RFPs and public sector tenders
  • Work closely with Sales, Engineering and Delivery teams throughout the sales cycle
  • Build trusted relationships with CIOs, IT Managers, Municipal Managers and executive stakeholders
  • Identify opportunities to expand client environments through additional the business solutions
