Senior Social Media & Content Manager

What You'll Be Doing

• Developing and executing an organic social media strategy aligned with broader brand, marketing and commercial objectives
• Taking ownership of the social media content calendar, content pillars and platform strategies
• Creating platform-specific content across LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook and other relevant channels
• Writing compelling social copy, articles, thought-leadership pieces and campaign content
• Creating and capturing social-first content, including short-form video, interviews, carousels, visual content and behind-the-scenes stories
• Turning complex technology, business and industry topics into accessible and engaging content
• Working with internal experts and senior leaders to uncover stories, insights and ideas worth sharing
• Supporting executive visibility and thought leadership through credible, relevant content
• Maintaining a consistent brand voice and visual identity across digital channels
• Managing online communities, responding to audiences and identifying opportunities to build meaningful engagement
• Monitoring conversations, trends, competitor activity and emerging topics to identify content opportunities
• Supporting integrated campaigns, launches, events and commercial initiatives through organic social content
• Developing content strategies around events and industry activity, including pre-event, live and post-event coverage
• Using social and digital performance data to understand what is working and continuously improve content
• Reporting on social performance and providing practical recommendations to improve reach, engagement and commercial impact
• Exploring AI and emerging digital tools to improve content ideation, creation and production efficiency
• Collaborating with Marketing, Sales, Commercial, Product and other internal teams to ensure social activity supports wider business priorities

• 5-7+ years' experience in social media, content marketing, digital marketing or a closely related field
• Proven experience developing and executing social media strategies for a B2B, technology, professional services or complex commercial brand
• Experience managing social media for an international or multi-market organisation would be advantageous
• Strong understanding of LinkedIn and B2B social media, with working knowledge of Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, TikTok and other relevant platforms
• Excellent copywriting, storytelling and editing skills
• Hands-on experience creating social-first content, particularly short-form video and visual content
• Strong understanding of content strategy and how different content formats support different stages of the customer journey
• Experience working with social analytics and translating performance data into actionable recommendations
• Strong understanding of digital trends, audience behaviour and changing social platforms
• Comfortable using AI tools to support research, ideation, copywriting, design and content production
• Experience working with senior stakeholders, subject-matter experts and cross-functional teams
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Media or a related field
• 5+ years' relevant professional experience in social media, content or digital marketing
