The role
We're recruiting an Executive Assistant to support a senior Australian executive. He leads a growing business and sits on a number of boards, so the person in this role will support him across everything he does rather than a single company. This is a backend role. There's no phone work and no client-facing component - everything you produce is delivered to him directly.
What you'll be doing
Building presentations and decks for board, executive and client audiences
Turning raw data into clear, usable insights
Reviewing reports for accuracy, clarity and gaps before they reach him
Preparing and formatting reports and board papers
Executive support across email, documents, scheduling and follow-up
Keeping him ahead of deadlines and commitments across several organisations at once
What you'll need
Experience supporting an executive, business owner or senior leader in an EA, senior administration or business support role
Strong Google Workspace skills - Gmail, Calendar, Drive, Docs, Sheets and Slides. This is the stack he runs on, so it's essential
Genuine presentation building ability. Not just filling in a template - able to take rough input and produce something a board would be comfortable seeing
Confidence with data. Able to work in Sheets, handle a dataset and explain what it actually shows
Excellent written English. Almost everything in this role is written
A track record of working unsupervised and setting your own priorities
Experience supporting a C-suite executive, ideally for an Australian, US or UK business
Exposure to board reporting or governance documents
Experience juggling multiple entities or stakeholders at once
Familiarity with AI tools for drafting, summarising and analysis
What you don't need
Phone or client-facing experience
A Microsoft-first background. Microsoft skills are fine, but Google fluency is what matters here
